Ibanez ST200 Guitar ...by Wombat

I bought this Ibanez ST200 guitar from a guy for $150. It has 24 frets with humbucker pickups. Mahogany neck and body. Rosewood fingerboard. Active electronics. All of the components are in excellent condition. It has the original hardcase.

Some positives - It has great tone and fast action. Flick that white switch and the active electronics kick in and make it sound like a good fuzztone.

A big negative - It's heavy as hell. Sitting down is fine and you can play all night. But I wouldn't want to play more than a set or two standing up with this thing strapped around my neck. It's just too heavy, at least for me.

Ibanez ST200 guitar body

It has the best tuning knobs I've ever used. They're twice the size of ordinary knobs and turn like a hot knife thru butter. The tuning is smooth and not at all notchy. And the tuning stays put, right where you want it.
