Hiya,
(from the land of the endangered kiwi)
...by Tubeswell
This effort took me about 4 months from scratch and then another 6 months to tweak. Built everything labouriously by hand. Its my purpose built surfin' machine based on a (highly) modified 5F6A circuit with a 2 tube 'verb and a blackface tremolux bias vary trem, which (oddly) I further adapted by moving to an AC-coupled CF stage after the LFO circuit, which gives the grooviest slam (I did this to get around the high h-k voltage).
Besides that regular tweed bassman controls and trem controls, it has four types of reverb control (dwell, recovery-drive, recovery tone and recovery level) and puts out about 40W. The 'verb can be precisely attuned and balanced to any volume level. With an oversized OT, it has the biggest bass I've heard for greenbacks. And its one heavy doggone mutha daddy.
Here's the back on and frontside. (That other rig in the back is another - similar kinda - story but it relates to stand alone reverb and tweed tremolux cloning.)
