...by Duke I was fortunate to be around way back when it all began. An awe-inspiring Big Bang in rock and roll's evolution took place when surf rock burst forth from the primordial soup of melody lines and chord progressions that made up the music of those ancient times. And it was good. It was very, very good. My love affair with surf rock has lasted more than 50 years. In that time I've listened to some kick-ass tunes. But, BitchBoys ...in heat offers up some of the best surf music I've ever heard. I'm talking ear bending, heart pounding, dripping wet, reverb soaked, double picked dynamite. This disc runs the gamut from early and modern surf to blazing hot rod to surfed-up rock and roll. Waves of slappy reverb, shimmering tremolo, high energy drumming, great bass lines and vast amounts of hot double picking make this all-instro CD a surf rocker's dream come true. The BitchBoys' original compositions and cover arrangements are absolutely first rate. This is world class surf music played by world class surf musicians. |

This Cool BitchBoys Game Is Included.
The Game Contains Some Adult Content. |
Nineteen tracks make up the BitchBoys ...in heat CD. The guys do a stellar rendition of Joe Meek's Telstar as a bonus, giving you a total of twenty tracks. There is one additional cut after Telstar, which is adult oriented. It cracked me up, but I don't recommend it for children or people with no sense of humor. There's a long pause after Telstar before the adult piece begins, allowing plenty of time for the prudish amongst us to hit the 'Stop' button. Be sure to check out the cool BitchBoys game that is included on the inside of the CD insert. |

There are no 'B' sides or throw-aways on this CD. Every cut is an 'A' side. You won't get two good tracks and eighteen others that have you groping for the 'Fast Forward' and 'Skip' buttons. Every track grabs you and holds you and makes you wish it would never end. Just when you think the guys have outdone themselves, they do it again ... and again ... and again.
