This combination puts out about 15W and has the sweetest stand alone reverb unit. The trem in the amp (based on a 5G9 - '58 tweed tremolux) has the most hypnotic slam.

Both units took me about 6 months to build altogether (3 mo each) and about another 2 months of tweaking. Covered in the same gingham tweed I covered my other amps in.

Link to an .mp3 dawdle of me accompanying myself in a surfie tune of my own particular devising on this amp. I particularly like the way in which the trem on this amp slams me into the middle of next week. Very contemplative.

FWIW I emailed a pic of this one to Dick Dale last year, and he sent me a real long explanation of his process for induction into the Musicians Hall of Fame. (Don't forget me when you become famous Dick (wink). I listen to your music all day long in my sucky day job. Miserlou sure is hard to play right.)
