Surfabilly/Crimejazz experts The Dillengers stun guitar giant Steve Vai and get signed to his label, Favored Nations Records.

Recently, Rick Rossano from The Dillengers was named one of the Top Ten Unknown Guitarists in the USA by Guitar One Magazine. By no surprise, Steve Vai, fellow monster guitarist also agreed, calling Rick "a master of roots guitar". He recently signed The Dillengers to his record label, Favored Nations.

Consistently named best band in South Florida magazines and polls, The Dillengers have gained that recognition by continuously playing clubs and concerts with people like The Dixie Chicks, Little Richard, Los Straitjackets, NRBQ, Johnny Winter, George Thorogood, The Turtles, Marshall Crenshaw, Link Wray and The Red Elvises.

Although renowned in the Southeast U.S., they have yet to break into the world ... until now. The Dillengers just released their new album "Instro-Mania" on Favored Nations. It’s a sincere tribute to Essential Instrumental Classics that includes unique re-interpretations of the themes from the movies "Goldfinger" and "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly", a tidal wave of tradition-based surf music executed with an electrifying urgency, and new original material that fits in seamlessly.

Their live show includes a thrilling mix of traditional and contemporary blues, country classics, punk, pop, jazz, and rockabilly, all delivered with three part harmonies, sweat and buckets of humor.
