Toronto-Based, Progressive, Power-Pop/Rock Trio Mnage
Announce Their New Self-Titled EP Release

Mnage has "expertly crafted a powerfully inspiring sound weaved in
and out of intense rock-pop arrangements." (Diffuser.fm)

Having collaborated with producers David Bottrill (Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo), Michael Phillips (Stone Sour, The Cliks), Dale Penner (Nikelback, Holly McNarland), and Ted Jensen (Sigur Ros, Coldplay), the band has been featured on Diffuser.fm, PopMatters, CraveOnline, Exclaim.ca, The Huffington Post, among other accolades: two nominations at the International Portuguese Music Awards and Rock Song of the Year at the International Portuguese Music Awards, presented by guitarist Nuno Bettencourt (Rihanna, Extreme). With a huge response to their music and significant airplay throughout the US, Mnage was selected for Portugal Week 2014 in Toronto, Portugal Day in NYC's Central Park, Portugal Day Montreal, and Toronto's Portuguese Walk of Ceremonies.

Before joining together as Mnage, the brothers, Basilio Ferreira (guitar/vocals) and Gabriel Ferreira (drums/percussion), and their sister, Bela Ferreira (keyboard/vocals), each had significant independent success. The single from Basilio and Gabriels band was picked up as the theme song for a Nascar video game in 2011 along with extensive US radio airplay leading to opening slots for My Chemical Romance, Stone Temple Pilots, among others. Bela made headway on tour across Portugal, as two of her singles became part of the soundtrack to the country's most popular TV shows, "Morangos Com Acucar", and her single reached the top 3 spot for several weeks across the nation's commercial radio stations. In 2012, the Ferreira siblings merged to write and release their debut self-titled album, produced by David Bottrill (Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo), Michael Phillips (Stone Sour, The Cliks), Dale Penner (Nikelback, Holly McNarland), and Ted Jensen (Sigur Ros, Coldplay). The inherent chemistry resulted in their single, "These Are the Days," landing spots on the hit TV show, "Degrassi" (MTV Canada), heavy rotation on 50 U.S. college radio stations, namely KROQ, Los Angeles, a U.S. tour, and the support of heavyweight entertainment lawyer, Michael Guido (Jay Z, Kanye West). Mnages buzz didnt stop there, as they made appearances at Portugal Week 2013, Canadian Music Week, and Indie Week Music Festival in Toronto.

The Ferreira team is hitting the road again for extensive touring throughout the rest of 2014 and onward in support of the new release. Mnages accomplishments are just the beginnings of greater things to come, as they are "sure to deliver a passionate European rock vibe unlike any other youve heard before" (The Aquarian).
