     This Slovenian band has everything going for it and no drawbacks, except they're over there and we're over here. Come on over to the USA, guys. We can use another top-notch surf rock band! And, in a short, succinct statement: The BitchBoys can make it to the top given the time and opportunity to do so. I can see them flashing across the airwaves in America as well as Japan, Germany and England. To the ears of this old surf dog, they have what it takes.

     The BitchBoys prove their value on Behind The Hound Dog Walls with great renditions of surf classics such as Wipe Out, Misirlou and The Wedge. Their rendition of the James Bond Theme is enhanced with double picking and strong drums. Bitchoola, inspired by the ever-popular Rockula, rocks out with verve and moves in and out cleverly and powerfully.

     This CD has something for everyone. Na Golici could make your grandmother smile. Chi-Chi is a love song for the surf crowd, evoking ocean breezes and silvery moons. The Batman Theme is spaced-up, employing plenty of laser sounds and an appropriately frenetic feel. Interspersed among the nineteen tracks on Behind The Hound Dog Walls are such cuts as Apache, Mach One and The Final Ride, each one rendered with the kind of controlled power so often found lacking with other bands. Even when the Boys take on dichotomies, they come out ahead. Walk Don't Run Mr. Eminem — yes, that is the title — will surprise you. It will also impress you.

     Don't miss this CD. It's an opportunity to visit a band's live performance before they get to be household names. Recorded live at a club called Hound Dog, the drama of this group of musicians is to be found in talent. And talented they are. The BitchBoys might very well be the next big name. Watch for them.
