Guitar Bob Ohsiek's Fake Marshall Amp

This fake Marshall is from an old yard-sale tube PA. I crammed it into a little 1-10 box I made from leftover shelves, added a fan, and a German radio 'tuning-eye' tube (now glows green the louder you play).

Of course, the Marshall logo, for the finishing touch. I've been playing it out. It's a loud 35-watts in a tiny box.

Guitar Bob Ohsiek's Hammond Amp

The old wooden amp is from an abandoned '50s organ. I salvaged the tube-powered chassis, speaker, grill cloth, etc. trimmed down the wood sides, added an ancient ammeter (the more eye candy, the better, eh?) and some drawer handles.

It's not very loud—perfect for in the house!

On the guitar front: (not very surfy but) I made a Les Paul-type axe from a cheap kit. I came up with a tangerine burst finish and a Guitar Bob logo. I gigged with it this past Saturday. Man, I thought I was in the Allman Bros. (Well, I still ended up playing Pipeline, Pintor, and Apache anyway.)
